Conor Oberst's Band Desaparecidos Reunites

If Conor Oberst's bar is indeed open by August, here's yet another reason to road trip to Omaha, Nebraska: He's reuniting with his old punk/hardcore-tinged band, Desaparecidos, for the Maha Music Festival on August 11, as the Omaha World-Herald reports. The band only released one album, Read Music/Speak Spanish, on Saddle Creek in 2002, before breaking up. Other bands slated to play Maha include Garbage, Icky Blossoms, and Josh Rouse.
