AllHipHop reports that Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and RZA have been hit with a sample suit. Bridgeport Music and Westbound Records filed a lawsuit on September 7 claiming that "New Wu", a track from Raekwon's stellar Only Built for Cuban Linx... Pt. II, illegally samples four measures of the Magictones' 1971 song "I've Changed". "New Wu" was produced by RZA and features Meth and Ghostface.
Charges listed on the suit include direct copyright infringement, common law copyright infringement, unfair competition, and misappropriation. You can read the court documents here.
