G-Side Split Up

Spin reports that Yung Clova and ST 2 Lettaz will no longer work together as G-Side. The Huntsville, Alabama underground rap duo's last release was 2011's very solid LP iSLAND. "It just felt like it was time... We've been doing records since 2004. You just grow up and grow out and that's kind of the case," ST 2 Lettaz told Spin.

Back in 2010, Clova told Pitchfork in a "Rising" interview: "We have been group rappers since '98 or '99. We started rapping together just to be doing something. We have always had the same passion."

What would have been a new G-Side album, G...Growth & Development, will now apparently come out as a solo project under ST's name, along with his solo EP R.E.B.E.L.
