Last month, Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch posted an announcement soliciting fans and professional actors alike to audition for three roles in his upcoming Kickstarter-funded musical film God Help the Girl, a companion to his musical project of the same name. However, hopeful aspiring actors/big-time Belle and Sebastian fans who auditioned for the roles may be sad to learn that precocious 14-year-old actress Elle Fanning (Somewhere, We Bought a Zoo, Super 8) likely landed one of those parts.
