Freddie Gibbs is a man who does not putz around with release dates. HipHopDX reports that during a show in San Francisco on Friday, producer Madlib brought out Gibbs and made the surprise announcement that the two had recorded an EP together called Thuggin'. Following the performance, 500 copies of the limited-edition EP were sold at the venue, and today, the six-track collaboration is available through Stones Throw. How's that for turnaround time?
