Complex reports that Magic, the rapper best known as a member of No Limit in the late 1990s, died in a car accident last night.
Awood Johnson released three albums under the No Limit banner between 1998 and 2003. His first, Sky's the Limit, featured Snoop Dogg, Master P, Mystikal, Fiend, and several members of No Limit. It debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200 chart. After he left No Limit, he released one more solo album, On My Own in 2003, which featured a guest spot from Curren$y.
Mr. Magic later joined Body Head Bangerz, a group fronted by former boxing champion Roy Jones, Jr., and started his own label, Banx Entertainment.
