In May of last year, Built to Spill confirmed that the then in-process followup to 2009's There Is No Enemy would be released in 2013 via Warner Bros. Now, the band has announced North American tour dates extending from February to May, including an appearance at the Sasquatch festival. No word about the new album yet, though.
The tour will feature a new lineup for Built to Spill. Drummer Steve Gere will replace Scott Plouf, while bassist Jason Albertini will replace Brett Nelson. A press release notes that "the shift in line up is completely amicable. Scott and Brett remain our dear friends and we wish them well on their future ventures."
After the dates, check out a performance of "Carry the Zero" from 2006.
