Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello's resurgent indie-pop act The Postal Service will hit the road to support the forthcoming 10th-anniversary Give Up reissue. The tour begins in April and includes Coachella and Primavera slots, along with a headlining date at the part Jay Z-owned Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.
Gibbard and Tamborello will play with a band that includes Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Georgie James) and Jenny Lewis. Lewis appeared on Give Up and toured with the Postal Service during their one and only tour, back in 2003. (She recently hinted at a mysterious spring tour. Looks like this is it.)
The new edition of Give Up is out on April 9 in the U.S. and April 8 in the UK.
