On March 5, Sub Pop will reissue the first three albums by Portland punks the Thermals: 2003's More Parts Per Million, 2004's Fuckin' A, and 2006's The Body, The Blood, The Machine. All three albums will be available on limited edition colored vinyl.
In other Thermals news, the band has finished work on a new LP, which they plan to release sometime this year. It was recorded with John Agnello (whose production credits include Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth). In a press release, the band described the upcoming album as " loud, fast, incredibly scary and undeniably catchy." They say it sounds like a "cross between" More Parts Per Million and The Body, The Blood, The Machine.
