The Flaming Lips, McSweeney's, and KCRW put together a sci-fi radio drama in the style of the Orson Welles radio classic War of the Worlds. It's called Wayne Coyne's Human Head-Shaped Tumor, it's one hour long, and it's about a talking tumor on Coyne's leg.
It features music from the Flaming Lips, Bill Callahan, Okkervil River's Will Sheff, Oneida, Nico Muhly, and Eleanor Friedberger. It also features voice acting from Grizzly Bear's Ed Droste, Paul F. It was co-written by Richard Parks and Andrew Leland Foley, and it was produced by Parks.
