Here's a surprise: A new collaborative track from Drake and Dawn Richard. There's not a lot of information out there about "Where Were You"-- like if it'll see release on an album or mixtape-- but you can listen to it over at Hip Hop Lead. UPDATE: The manager of Canadian singer and producer Colin Munroe has offered some details on the song's history.
The song was originally a collaboration between Munroe and producers Boi-1da and D10 (who are both credited on So Far Gone) that was submitted to possibly be included on Thank Me Later. After it wasn't included on the album, Munroe released his own version of the track called "Whatever Became of You" two weeks ago on his mixtape Unsung Hero. Here's Munroe's version:
